Just moulding left

As some of you saw already, we finished the wood floor in the den. It looks so amazing and I can't believe its finally done. It makes the whole house look complete but also super empty at the same time since we don't have enough furniture to go in both the front room and den :) This past month has gone by so fast. With the wedding coming up and the air getting a little more crisp each day we figured we better start working on the stove surround again. So last weekend Colton busted it out and today I finished painting all the edges around the walls (I've been putting it off for quite a while now). Besides the moulding, the den is complete!!

We  still need to put the stove up there but we might need to recruit the neighbors. I can muscle it pretty well but I think this one might be out of my league :)

I've been packing things up like a little squirrel lately getting ready for winter I guess. Just about every Tuesday (since I don't have to be at work till 2pm) I end up making some sort of canning project for my self. So far I've done pickles and peaches. But more on that later.......

With August passing us by, I can't believe there's only 1 MONTH till our wedding. We are getting super excited and just ready for the day to be here. Mostly for the vacations after words and because Colton's tired of me coming up with new/more ideas to add. Most importantly though I was looking at the calender and couldn't believe there is a baby due any day. Adam & Nicole are excepting any day and we are sooooo excited for them and super excited to meet this little tike. We have our own idea what it might be but I guess we just have to wait and see.

Just a few weeks ago our good friends Garret & Amy had their little boy, Hoyt. He's very handsome! I pretty much had to pry Colton off of this little man, but who could blame him. He's going to make a great dad, someday............very far from now

R+C Tool Shower!!

FINALLY!! I know everyone has been waiting to see some pictures from our couples tool shower. It was a little chaotic at first as we had a last minute change for set up at the park to set up at our house. Luckily for Colton and I we had been busting our buns to finish projects and clean the house for the after party. So besides mowing the 1.5 acres of grass with a push mower the morning of the party, me having to work till 11, and frantic family members trying to reorganize decoration ideas, everything turned out perfectly.

Before enjoy all these photos (that took me forever to upload), I want everyone to realize I have the most amazing fiance, sisters and mombo ever............

Colton mowed, called and told everyone about the last minute change, and help get all the final details done before the party, since I could not be there the morning of to help out.
My sisters, Libby and Sarah, planned and decorated the whole party and still found time to cook a bunch of the side dishes as well.
My mom assisted in putting decor up and made a ton (literally) of potato salad and of course Jim made the main course..... RIBS. Super good!

Also another thanks to Colton's grandma, Shirley for cooking enough pies for 40 people. They were soooo good :)

Thanks to all of our family members that helped make this party happen. It was way more than we expected. Thanks for all the great gifts from everyone that was able to make it and to those who sent their's in the mail :) Finally thanks Tiffany for taking all these great photos. Now Colton & I will have memories of this great day with family and friends for life
